What will the minimum wage be in 2024? Employers and trade unions want to repeat their historic agreement

Representatives of employers and trade unions have already begun negotiating the level of the minimum wage in Slovakia for 2024. The social partners have exchanged their views on the amount of next year's minimum gross earnings, but they do not wish to comment on the details.

Under the statutory mechanism, the minimum wage for next year must reach at least 744 euros, that is, 57 percent of the average wage in Slovakia for last year. It is in the interest of employers and trade unions to reach an agreement, just as they managed to do last year.
