The NATO Innovation Fund (NIF) is an independent venture capital fund with a volume of 1 billion euros, which supports ambitious innovators developing new and disruptive technologies, the so-called EDTs.

Among the priority topics of the NIF are artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, energy and propulsion, space technologies, autonomous systems, hypersonic systems, novel materials and quantum technologies based on cutting-edge hardware and software. The fund supports innovators in the form of direct or indirect investments primarily in the above-mentioned priority areas.
