The employer's information obligation

The certificate issued to you by the Association of Industrial Unions and Transport is surely filed somewhere in a binder, and you have been providing practical training to pupils in the dual system for quite some time now. Good work.

But what if you have in the meantime changed your identification details – for example the company name, the company ID (IČO) or even the company's registered office? You are surely telling yourself that this is fine. However, to err is human.

The thing is, all of these details are also stated in your certificate. In order for the changes you made to match the content of the certificate it is necessary that you inform APZD about them. Ideally by email, or by phone. Then send this certificate to them by post.

In return, they will issue you a certificate with updated content. It is merely a formality

ATTENTION!

An exception is a change in the premises of the practical training workplace (PPV) to which the certificate is tied. In such a case, it is essential that we carry out an inspection of your new premises.

  • In the first step inform us of such a fact and at the same time send us a request for verification of the new PPV in electronic form (if you wish to continue operating in the dual system). We will carry out an inspection and, in the event that you meet all the legal requirements, we will issue you a completely new certificate.
  • In the second step send us by post the certificate that relates to the original PPV. We will exchange it for a new one

Why is reporting any changes important?

As employers in the dual system, you are entitled to claim certain benefits such as, for example, direct payment and others. With the request for direct payment you also enclose the certificate. The condition is that it be current, i.e. that it match your current state, which guarantees the application of the benefit itself.

So, if you have made any of the mentioned changes, do not hesitate to turn to the colleagues at APZD. They will be glad to help you.
