Repeated verification after seven years

Some decisions are good enough to be made repeatedly. Entering dual education is one of them. The deadline is approaching by which it is necessary to submit an application for repeated verification, without which it will not be possible to continue in this direction. The Association of Industrial Unions and Transport (APZD) has substantive competence in the area of engineering and electrical engineering.

If you are an employer and you are interested in continuing to provide practical training, it is essential that you undergo repeated verification of competence. You need to fill in a notification, which you then submit to the relevant professional or trade organisation, such as APZD, no later than three months before the expiry of the certificate itself.

On the basis of the submitted notification, the professional or trade organisation will carry out an inspection of the practical training workplace. It will check whether everything at the workplace is in accordance with the material-technical standard and spatial provision, and whether it is possible to provide practical training in the dual system there. In addition, it will also discuss a number of other matters, such as the organisation of the teaching day, the preparation of (also chief) instructors, cooperation with the contractual school and other practical things.

To an employer who has met the conditions of the repeated verification of competence to provide practical training, APZD will issue an addendum to the certificate for a new period of seven years.

Advantages at APZD

If you are considering a change of professional organisation (with competence in the area of engineering and electrical engineering) the procedure is essentially the same. It just starts with a telephone consultation, in which we will go through all the conditions and details of your transfer to APZD together.

Reasons for the transfer? In the last year alone we organised 144 webinars for primary school pupils with the aim of attracting them to technical fields. We opened four training centres for instructors, where they improve their work with pupils in the dual system, and we are organising the 2nd annual TOP Chief Instructor survey and a conference for chief instructors.

More detailed information regarding the procedure can be found on the website of APZD.
