The high amounts charged for energy will be investigated. According to the chairman of the Regulatory Office for Network Industries (ÚRSO), Andrej Juris, the prices for companies that do not fall under state regulation are excessively high. Suppliers are defending themselves. They contracted such prices back at the height of the energy crisis.
According to ÚRSO calculations, the price of energy for unregulated companies in Slovakia is tens of percent higher than in neighbouring countries.
