Do you know how to decarbonise industry? Send us your suggestions

The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic calls on industrial entities involved in the greenhouse gas emission allowance trading system to submit their suggestions for setting up the call of the state aid scheme for the decarbonisation of industry.

Industrial enterprises can submit their proposals by e-mail to the address dekarbonizacia@enviro.gov.sk. This initiative is part of the upcoming call No. 2 for the decarbonisation of industry from the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic.

Given the global imperative of combating climate change, the ministry's call emphasises Slovakia's commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to a more sustainable industry without reducing competitiveness. By actively involving industrial entities, the government seeks to support innovation and implement effective decarbonisation strategies by directly involving companies in shaping them. As Minister Tomáš Taraba emphasised, he wants to set up the transformation to a green economy together with companies, one that will be functional and will also bring benefits to the Slovak economy.

Further information and parties interested in participating in this transformational initiative can be found on the official website of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic
